Toys'Port was founded in 1996 - after my apprenticeships job in Germany
- primarily for further cooperation with the Graupner company. After
some development projects and production of some model parts, I decided
to expand my model portfolio with high performance sporty products. Our
program has been continuously developed over the years with racing
experience for beginners, advanced racers and leading experts. Today,
we are proud to have a multitude of clientele and dealers (also in
Budapest for manufacturing and materials) throughout the world. At the
same time, we have gained essential business experience and have
introduced many technical, technological and performance design
improvements. It's our mission to supply passionate model builders,
those with a demand for fine craftmanship, as well as for other
high-tech products on the market. We strive to excel in the innovative
development, manufacture and sales of our products, which target those
who settle for nothing else than the very best products that are
available. We hope that our desire inspire you to achieve the highest
level of passion, that's moreover possible within any model racing boat
community.
Production
Our refined processing methods with selected materials enables us to
consistently deliver the highest quality product available. The
manufacturing of the fiberglass hulls are made through professionally
crafted master models in screwed-moulds and the result is also a
premium product that can noticeable for everyone on this planet. Our
hulls are laminated by the wet-on-wet method and longer time on 50 C°
tempered, to increase strength and longevity. Instead of Gelcoat, we
use 2K Auto Lacquer to prepare optically different coating layer
variants (with elaborate covering techniques for multicolor designs
still in the mould). This precise manufacturing system certainly takes
time and costs, but the advantage you get from a clean made product is
that you can enjoy it both on the water or in the racing pit tent and
(by careful handling) for a long time.
Special products
Of
course, we can receive also special requests regarding extra color
variants such as metallic or neon colors, required color combinations
and material thicknesses in extremely demanding places, partly or all
in carbon fiber, carbon-kevlar, ultralight and even a sandwich
construction with vacuum pump technology. We can make a model or any
part specifically by your request, idea, suggestion and with our many
years of experience.
